Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. What Lore is

Lore lets you make a collection of your writing, notes, or other content available to external AI tools through a secure connection flow. You can keep the collection private, gate it to specific email addresses, or make it public.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload. By uploading, you grant Lore a license to store, index, and serve that content through your collection so the product works. You can delete the collection at any time and the underlying content is removed.

You may only upload content that you own or have permission to use. Do not upload third-party copyrighted material, private information belonging to others, or anything you would not be comfortable being asked about in Claude.

3. Prohibited content

You may not use Lore to store or share:

  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other IP
  • Personal data about others without their consent
  • Illegal content under applicable law
  • Malware, phishing material, or anything designed to harm
  • Harassing, defamatory, or targeted abusive material

4. Abuse and suspension

Collections that violate these terms can be suspended at our discretion. A suspended collection returns a 410 Gone response to all subdomain and MCP traffic. Data is retained for a brief window so the collection can be restored if the suspension was made in error.

Report abuse, DMCA notices, or policy concerns to abuse@findlore.dev.

5. Availability

Lore is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uptime. Limits are soft and may change: collections are capped at 100MB of content and 50 concurrent connections in this version.

6. Changes

These terms may change. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
